Other than dealing with health problems that seem to thwart my attempts at superstardom at every turn (that was a joke - not the illnesses, the attempts at superstardom), looking back it's been busier than I seem to casually remember.
Radio slots have included a couple of visits each to WHCR FM and SEASIDE FM, and festivals have included a fantastic couple of days performing up at the Filey Free Music Weekend which was a joint effort between the remnants of the old Filey Folk Festival and the Springboard team.
(Incidentally, members of the Springboard Crew, namely Ian, Dennis and Ukulele Bill, are also putting on weekly and monthly acoustic events at the King William IV (King Billy) Cottingham, check them out on the Springboard thread on this forum.)
Gigs have seen travels to Cleethorpes to play alongside the great Mr Jim Danby; to Goole with Abbie Lammas and the Nocturnal Flowers; a gig at the new Hallgate Sessions in Cottingham organised by Music HQ's Darren Bunting; and my headline set at Tuesday @ The Tap in Hull run by Neil Kurtin that I billed as my Samhain Special. My final music act of November was a gig at West Street Live in Sheffield with Dave Abbott and Will from Great Northern Hotel. I'll be returning there in December.
This period also saw an unwise (physically and financially) visit to Mexico, the blog of which my Myspace chums can read at: http://www.myspace.com/gingerwitchgreen
